DITZ: “Never Exhale” Album Tour Hits Blind Stage on November 26! Brighton-based post-punk/noise rock band DITZ, known for their relentless energy and extensive European touring, are coming to Istanbul for the first time as part of their second album tour, Never Exhale! This special concert at Blind on November 26 marks the band’s debut performance in Turkey. Following their first album The Great Regression, DITZ have shown no signs of slowing down, spending over 100 days on the road annually. The tracks on Never Exhale were shaped across Europe—in rehearsal spaces and during breaks on the road. For the band, recording is merely a formality; the real creative act lies in live performance. The album was recorded in a cold January at Holy Mountain studios in London. Although initially planned to be recorded in Rhode Island, the album was completed in the UK due to a touring opportunity with IDLES. However, mixing duties were handled by the originally intended producer Seth Manchester (Model/Actriz, Lingua Ignota, Big Brave). While Never Exhale radiates intense energy from the very first listen, its deeper layers gradually unfold with time. Opening with ‘Taxi Man’, the album delves into themes such as aging, the boundaries between physical presence and reality, as well as hatred and discrimination. Drawing inspiration from post-punk icons like The Jesus Lizard, Shellac, and The Fall, the band hints at the atmospheric stylings of Mogwai or Radiohead in the closing track ‘Britney’. DITZ’s live shows are raw, fierce, and captivating. Bringing the full weight and dynamic energy of Never Exhale to the stage, DITZ are set to deliver an unforgettable night at Blind.
