%100 Müzik Sunar: Wavves

American Surf-Punk Rebellion at Blind: Wavves is Coming to Istanbul! Redefining the 2000s punk wave with lo-fi explosions, skate-inspired melodies, and a destructive stage presence, Wavves is set to perform on February 12 at one of Istanbul’s most dynamic concert venues, Blind. Born from the sunny streets of California under the lead of Nathan Williams, Wavves quickly broke out of the DIY punk scene and earned praise from outlets like Pitchfork, NME, and Rolling Stone. Their cult-classic album “King of the Beach” (2010) is considered a turning point in the indie and alternative music scene, while albums like “Afraid of Heights” and “V” also received critical acclaim. Throughout their career, Wavves has performed at some of the world’s biggest festivals including Coachella, Primavera Sound, Lollapalooza, Pitchfork Music Festival, Outside Lands, Fun Fun Fun Fest, and Bonnaroo—bridging mainstream and underground culture through appearances on platforms like MTV and Adult Swim. Now preparing to bring their energetic chaos to Istanbul for the first time, the band promises a night full of noise and pure adrenaline at Blind, with iconic tracks like “Green Eyes”, “Demon to Lean On”, and “Nine Is God.”
