Garanti BBVA Genç Konserleri: Silvana Estrada + Gülinler

Garanti BBVA Young Concerts: Silvana Estrada – Vendrán Suaves Lluvias + Gülinler, as part of PSM Loves2Gather, on May 15 at %100 Studio! Touching audiences around the world, Silvana Estrada transforms themes of personal loss, healing, and rebirth into a profound musical journey with her new album Vendrán Suaves Lluvias. Following her critically acclaimed 2022 debut Marchita, which earned her the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist, Estrada created this album during a period of deep personal upheaval, confronting intense loss and inner fractures after years of touring and success. Taking its name from a poetic line meaning “Soft rains will come,” the album enriches its indie-folk foundation with elements of jazz, tropicália, minimalist classical, and Latin music. Entirely self-produced by Estrada, the record opens a safe and intimate space for listeners through songs that move between anger, grief, fragility, and hope. Recorded with her long-time collaborators as well as Oscar-nominated composer Owen Pallett and a group of distinguished Montreal-based musicians, the album carries both emotional and cinematic depth. Vendrán Suaves Lluvias offers an elegant yet powerful narrative shaped by Estrada’s unique voice and poetic songwriting — a journey that moves through loss but ultimately arrives at hope. This special work invites listeners to slow down, feel deeply, and reconnect with the healing power of music. Taking the stage after Silvana Estrada on May 15 at %100 Studio, Gülinler has been composing, performing, and touring with Büyük Ev Ablukada for nearly fifteen years. During this time, she also co-founded the short-lived duo heranherşeyolabilir and continues to appear as one of the “angelic” backing vocalists on two albums by Ari Barokas. A multidisciplinary artist who composes for theater, sings, and dances — don’t miss her performance!
