MR. BOOMBASTIC IN ISTANBUL
Legendary reggae and dancehall icon Shaggy is set to deliver an unforgettable live performance in Istanbul on June 25.
With a 36-year career and 14 albums to his name, the artist first topped the UK charts in 1993 with Oh Carolina. His 1995 album Boombastic became a global sensation, reaching the top of the R&B charts and earning him the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album that same year.
In the years that followed, he achieved worldwide success through collaborations with Sting, Akon, and Sean Paul. His 2000 album Hot Shot became one of the most successful releases of his career, featuring chart-topping hits like Angel and It Wasn't Me, both of which held the #1 spot for weeks.
