The esteemed Berlin-based artist, DJ and Stil vor Talent label-owner Oliver Koletzki will be with us at The GALLIARD Cove House on August 9th Saturday. Oliver has an impressive career since his 2005 debut release ‘Der Mückenschwarm’ on Sven Väth’s Cocoon, he challenges the status quo with every single new production and set, drawing from an ever-evolving plethora of styles and moods. Inspired by his extensive travels around the globe, which have taken him from the deserts of Burning Man, Rainbow Serpent and – this spring – Coachella to the beaches of Tulum, Tel Aviv, Ibiza and beyond, Oliver’s output shines with the maturity of an artist at the top of his game and the playfulness of a youthfully curious mind.
Testament to the fact were his last albums ‘The Arc of Tension’ (2017), ‘Fire in the Jungle’ (2019) and ’Made of Wood‘ (2021) – a trilogy exploring the musical space between organic psychedelia and synthetic floor-focus. Meanwhile, Oliver has continuously enabled, fostered and furthered the artistic paths of countless musicians. Looking back over the past 17 years, Township Rebellion, Reinier Zonneveld, KlangKuenstler or HVOB are just a few of many names that link to his label Stil vor Talent. Now, in 2023, Oliver Koletzki is set to release his 10th longplayer ‘Trip to Sanity’ and embark on a live concert tour, marking yet another milestone at the forefront of contemporary electronic music. A night where rhythm flows seamlessly, taste meets sound, and every moment feels intentional.
On this special night, Allen Hulsey will warm up the night before Oliver takes over.
Allen Hulsey delivers a unique LIVE performance that combines vocals, guitar, kanun, and looping into a dynamic dance spectacle.
Allen Hulsey raises his glass to Rock 'n' Roll in the world of melodic house, captivating listeners with a dynamic blend of virtuoso guitar skills and impressive live vocals in English and Turkish. His energetic performances showcase an innovative fusion of live instruments, including the captivating 78-string kanun once played in the Ottoman palace, and original MIDI guitar loops created using Ableton LIVE.
From original IDs to reinterpreted classics like "House of the Rising Sun," "Miss You," and traditional Turkish folk songs, Hulsey effortlessly blends musical cultures to create a truly unique and limitless experience. Residing in Mykonos, Ibiza and Bodrum and performing at iconic venues such as Scorpios (Mykonos), Zamna (Tulum), Cova Santa (Ibiza), Raspoutine (Paris) and The Brooklyn Mirage (New York), Allen Hulsey has established himself as a powerhouse in electronic music, bringing a fresh spirit and spontaneity to every stage.
Opening the evening, Cihangir Aslan will guide the crowd into a carefully curated sonic journey.
