Kerala Dust have shared their brand-new track “Bell”, a hypnotic blend of blues, psychedelic rock, and techno — marking the first single from the band’s yet-to-be-announced third album. Stretching out like a hazy memory, the track carries a cinematic, pulsating, and unforgettable atmosphere. Speaking about the song, Dust said: “This track came together piece by piece over a few recording sessions. A week of tape recording in Austin, Texas left echoes of blues… The song is about the way we bury fragments of ourselves — memories, emotions — and hope they resurface when we least expect them.” The band also describes “Bell” as a moment of evolution for them, signaling the musical direction of their upcoming album. Alongside new members, keyboardist Tim Gardner and drummer Pascal Karier, founding members Edmund Kenny (vocals, electronics) and Lawrence Howarth (guitar) explain how the recording of “Bell” and the new album was shaped by their intense touring schedule following the release of Violet Drive in 2023.
