At the center of the program is Charlotte de Witte, whose uncompromising, high-energy techno continues to shape dancefloors worldwide with its physical intensity. Alongside her, Apparat and Polo & Pan add contrasting yet complementary dimensions. Apparat moves between emotional depth, cinematic atmospheres, and immersive electronic compositions, while Polo & Pan bring warmth, melody, and global rhythms to the dancefloor, creating moments of movement and shared joy. The lineup also features Stef Mendesidis with a precision-driven live performance, Novi_sad with experimental soundscapes, and Cora Novoa with modular synthesis explorations. The club energy of the weekend is amplified by Gerd Janson’s encyclopedic house selections, LOVEFOXY’s vibrant rhythms, and a special b2b set from CEM and SALOME set to resonate globally. Together, these artists form a multi-layered program spanning forward-thinking techno, immersive live performances, and experimental sound practices—reflecting Sónar Istanbul’s long-term vision of exploration and synthesis beyond genre boundaries. The newly announced names further reinforce Sónar’s commitment to the avant-garde and the technical. Laurel Halo & Julian Charrière present Midnight Zone live AV, offering a deeply immersive audiovisual experience. Liam Young presents New Planetary Imaginaries, forging new connections between architecture, storytelling, and moving image. Lady Starlight delivers a high-voltage live performance rooted in the raw energy of analog techno machines, while Halina Rice and Pleizel bring performances that merge music, visuals, and technology into layered, immersive live experiences. Beyond music, Sónar+D Istanbul once again takes center stage, presenting talks, performances, and new formats that explore the future of creativity, technology, and digital culture. The 2026 edition will introduce new collaborations and approaches that shed light on the future of cultural production. Celebrating its 10th year, Sónar Istanbul continues to honor its past while shaping the future—serving as a meeting point for artists, audiences, and ideas.
