Born in New York and raised in Istanbul, Taycan explores the audio landscape with rhythmic, melodic and bass driven elements. Being raised in Istanbul and constantly surrounded by the sounds of the streets has had an impact on his production style. Trying not to contain himself within a specific genre like Deep House, Tech House, Techno etc… Taycan experiments with inter cultural sounds, ongoing melodies and grooving bass-lines. Taycan has produced the Cannes Short Film Festival 2019’s Best Music Video Award “It’s Just” as well as the sound design for Beymen’s 2019 “Me, Myself & I” (Fall,Winter Campaign) & Absolut’s About Nights 2019 Campaign to name a few. Amongst these accomplishments Taycan started his label/event series “Put Out” in early 2019 which is based in Istanbul where he explores freedom of artistic expression in his events as well as in music.
