Intro

The British indie rock band "Porridge Radio" is coming to Turkey for the first time for their Istanbul debut performance on the evening of May 8th, with the support of %100 Müzik!

Formed in Brighton in 2015, "Porridge Radio" will take the stage at Asmalımescit Blind on May 8th for their first-ever concert in Istanbul. The band, founded by vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist Dana Margolin, gained recognition in 2018 by being included in The Guardian's "Best New Artists of the Year" list.

In 2020, their nomination for "Album of the Year" at the prestigious Mercury Prize came as no surprise. The band's powerful live performances and raw, emotional lyrics quickly earned them a dedicated fanbase.

"Porridge Radio" released their critically acclaimed fourth album Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For Me in October 2024. With deeper explorations of themes such as love, loss, and personal growth, the band is currently on tour in support of the album, with their path bringing them to Istanbul for the first time.
