In the Istanbul edition of Future Rising, arts and culture magazine 212 Magazine will curate a group exhibition featuring the photographic works of artists featured in, and championed by, the publication, as well as a video installation by Russian artist group AES+F. There will also be Suite Session that will include a talk between artist Ali Elmacı and Yasemin Elçi called "Future Rising: The Existing Artist". Please see the details below. This Suite Session will be offered to a limited number of guests because of the seating capacity so make your reservations now to avoid disappointment via an e-mail to [email protected].
The eclectic Istanbul musicians Nusaibin will then perform an exclusive set live, starring members from their instrumental band. Following this will be DJ sets from Istanbul-based electronic DJ, Kaan Duzarat, and more.

Allegoria Sacra, 2011-2013
Giovanni Bellini’s Allegoria Sacra (Sacred Allegory) hangs in the Uffizi in Florence. The subject of this painting is a mystery to art historians. Inspired by this painting, the artist group focuses on a special club of people who are united by the condition of a body and soul located between the abandoned and the not yet found.

Future Rising: The Existing Artist
Creating has never been more paramount to existing as an artist. How does that translate to future?Ali Elmacı and Yasemin Elci discuss the struggles and the triumphs of existing as an artist - giving us tidbits of information along the day on how to prepare yourself for the next chapter of now.
Live performance by NUSAIBIN
Based in Istanbul, the boundary-pushing Nusaibin draw from both eastern and western musical culture in their sonic craft. By pairing synths, samples, and drum machines, with darbukas, didgeridoos, and classical guitar, the sound of this four piece is like none other.
DJ Performance by KAAN DÜZARAT
Istanbul DJ and musician, Kaan Düzarat keeps himself busy with numerous musical projects; from FOC Edits, which released a series of edits of Turkish Psych and Club classics, to three-piece live electronic band project, Falso. Besides working at Istanbul’s acclaimed radio station Dinamo FM, producing and remixing for local artists, he also runs events for his own label, Vesvese, at several clubs in Istanbul.
