Dutch DJ and producer Maddix is renowned for his genre-defying techno-rave sound, seamlessly blending big room and trance influences.
Having embarked on his new musical identity in 2018, Maddix reshaped the electronic music scene with the release of his legendary track ‘Ecstasy’ in 2019, introducing powerful techno kicks and an acid revival. Over time, he organically evolved his sound further towards techno and trance, most notably bringing rave culture back to clubs and festival crowds. His groundbreaking style has earned him support from leading techno artists such as Deborah de Luca, Amelie Lens, Ki/Ki, Umek, Eli Brown, John Summit, Hi-Lo, Lilly Palmer, and many more.
With hit singles like ‘Heute Nacht’ and ‘My Gasoline’, alongside collaborations with Hardwell, Umek, KSHMR, Timmy Trumpet, and remixes for Tiësto and Armin van Buuren, Maddix has expanded his audience to a truly global scale. This success has led to performances at major festivals, including Ultra Music Festival, EDC, Dreamstate, Parookaville, World Club Dome, and Mysteryland, as well as headlining club shows worldwide.
In 2023, Maddix launched his own record label, Extatic (XTTC), in collaboration with Revealed Recordings. His remarkable achievements include surpassing 500 million streams, reaching 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and repeatedly securing the #1 spot on Beatport. Additionally, he made an impressive climb of 26 places in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs ranking, securing the 69th position, solidifying his influence in the global electronic music scene.
Maddix further showcased his artistic vision at his exclusive "Maddix All Day Rave" event in Amsterdam, where he performed back-to-back (B2B) sets with industry giants such as Space 92, Marie Vaunt, Hardwell, HI-LO, Sacha Harland, Hannah Laing, Nifra, Lilly Palmer, The Rocketman, Will Atkinson, and Armin van Buuren. Moreover, his collaboration with Armin van Buuren at A State of Trance 2025: TRANSFORMATION, performing under the "Face 2 Face" concept, reaffirmed his innovative approach and undeniable impact on the global dance music landscape.
By seamlessly blending techno and trance with modern rave culture, Maddix continues to pioneer a movement that is reshaping electronic dance music.
