Ari Abdul, The Neighborhood ve Lana Del Rey gibi en sevdiğiniz shoegaze sanatçılarının yankı ağırlıklı dalgalarını birleştiriyor. Bir dizi görsel ve stilistik etkiyi bir araya getiren Ari, sanatsal çabalarına gizemli bir hava katmayı da başarıyor. Bu yılın başlarında ilk single'ı BABYDOLL 'u ve ardından hızlandırılmış versiyonu BABYDOLL (Speed)'i yayınladı. 130 milyondan fazla dinlenen bu iki şarkı, 400 milyon TikTok görüntülemesi ile de viral başarı elde etti.
Brooklyn'de büyüyen Ari Abdul için müzik hızla ikinci bir dil haline geldi. Ekvadorlu annesi Latin müziğini severken, Kosta Rikalı/Filistinli babası onu klasik rock ile tanıştırdı. Hip-hop ve metalle ilgilenen erkek kardeşleri ise her şeyi tamamlıyordu. Elektro gitara 14 yaşında geçti ve Nirvana'dan esinlenerek grunge şarkılar çalmaya başladı.
