JAKUZIIstanbul's synth-wave pioneers, Jakuzi, made waves in 2017 with their debut album 'Fantezi Müzik,' showcasing modern Turkish underground music. Breaking stereotypes, they embraced introspective themes in their gothic-infused sound, tackling personal psychological struggles. The album's unexpected international success led to re-release and acclaim from The Quietus and The Guardian, along with shows alongside idol John Maus. Despite challenges in Turkey's music scene, Jakuzi persisted, returning with "Hata Payı" after two years, delving deeper into themes of youth, success, relationships, and mental health. Produced in Istanbul, the album explores acceptance in all its forms, presenting a refined and darker sound that delves into the human experience.
CLUB BANGKOK
Founded by Doğu Orcan in Amsterdam in 2007 and finalized with the participation of Oğuz Hakan Odabaşı after moving to Istanbul, Club Bangkok brought the "club night" culture to Istanbul and established itself in Istanbul nightlife with its sets consisting of indie, electro and disco anthems. The duo has taken the helm at Istanbul's premier clubs and festivals, hosting nights themed around 'let there be no mornings,' filled with ample indulgence. Club Bangkok, known for its extensive repertoire spanning foreign bands before, after, alongside, or in between, has left no dance floor untouched by serotonin. Their energetic stage performances, featuring artists from The XX and Moderat to CAN, Blur, The Strokes, and beyond, consistently electrify audiences, leaving them bidding farewell to calories. Whether you find yourself dancing into the night or harmoniously floating in a cocktail, Club Bangkok's sets, ranging from The Prodigy and Aphex Twin to Ariel Pink and Joy Division, guarantee an unforgettable experience.
Rules
-The event is for participants aged 18 and over.-It is forbidden to bring food and beverages, cutting, piercing or flammable tools into the event area.
-Event participants accept that photo & video shooting will be done in the event area.
-It is forbidden to bring professional video recording devices and shooting unless there is written permission.
It is expected to take care not to shoot with non-professional devices that may disturb other guests and performing artists and violate the privacy of their private life. Flash photography is strictly prohibited.
-The organisation and venue authorities have the right not to allow people they do not deem appropriate to the event and backstage area.
-Particular attention is paid to the balance in the number of men and women, attitude, style, clothing and general suitability, and entry may not be possible for these and similar reasons. This is entirely at the discretion of the door. The decision of our gate is final and valid under all circumstances.
-Purchased tickets cannot be refunded, cancelled or exchanged.
-The right to use the photographs and video footage of the participants in the event in promotional materials belongs to the organiser and the participant accepts the use of this right by participating in the event.
