Maddix, a Dutch DJ and producer, is known for his genre-defying techno-rave sound, infused with big room and trance influences. His unique style, blending these influences, has made him a globally recognized artist. In 2018, Maddix decided to take his music career in a new direction, and in 2019, he made a massive breakthrough with the release of his legendary track "Ecstasy." This track laid the foundation for his sound, bringing hard-hitting techno kicks and an acid revival to the EDM world, offering an innovative breath of fresh air. Throughout this period, Maddix continuously evolved his sound, pushing it further into the realms of techno and trance. Notably, he brought rave culture back to the club and festival scenes and received support from leading techno artists like Deborah de Luca, Amelie Lens, Ki/Ki, Umek, Eli Brown, John Summit, Hi-Lo, Lilly Palmer, and many others. Maddix's music reached even broader audiences not only through his own productions but also via collaborations with Hardwell, Umek, KSHMR, Timmy Trumpet, and remixes for Tiësto and Armin van Buuren. His hit singles "Heute Nacht" and "My Gasoline" played a significant role in transforming his fanbase into a truly global collective. This growth led to appearances at major festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, EDC, Dreamstate, Parookaville, World Club Dome, and Mysteryland, further cementing his place in the global music scene. In 2023, Maddix launched his own record label, Extatic (XTTC), in partnership with Revealed Recordings. Through this new venture, Maddix achieved tremendous success, surpassing 500 million streams and reaching 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He also secured multiple #1 spots on Beatport and Spotify's Editorial playlists and made his entry into the DJMag Top 100 DJ list in 2023. With his music, Maddix has made an indelible mark on the electronic dance music scene and is quickly emerging as one of the most influential artists of the future.
