Her long brown hair falls lightly to one side of her face; she quickly tucks it behind her ear with her headphones before turning her focus back to the records. She works the turntables with full concentration, then her radiant gaze drifts toward the crowd, she takes off her headphones, and throws both arms into the air. Currently based in Berlin, Ogazón has made a meteoric rise in a very short time—one that many aspiring DJs couldn’t even imagine in their wildest dreams. She represents a sonic sensibility that has become increasingly rare in recent years; she occasionally plays old-school techno and house, yet still manages to make her mixes sound fresh. Still, she doesn’t stick to a specific musical direction in her selections; instead, she prefers to tap into emotional layers rather than genre categories in her sets. Ogazón builds bridges to minimal, plays with progressive trance elements, embarks on sonic journeys to distant lands, and at times pays tribute to her Spanish roots with hints of Guaracha. Naturally, this made her a perfect fit for almost any musical context in 2022.
