KABUS KERIMHe is quite famous for his unique style combined with Anatolian pop and Turkish psychedelic music for years. With his famous motto "From old to new, always headed forward", he aims to keep the old hip-hop culture alive.
KOZMONOTOSMAN
Osman Basaran aka Kozmonotosman has been a long time crafter combining Anatolian pop/ funk with modern electronic music. Digging for old unique pieces and reintroducing them to the dance floor, he creates edits that gives inspiration to many artists who are interested in Turkish music. Working together with Kaan Duzarat and Dogu Civicik in the past years, Kozmonotosman's name is likely to pop up in productions such as the Turkish Delight EP including his very edit of Hulya Suer's Seker Oglan.
BARIŞ K
Barış K’s been deejaying at Istanbul’s venues and events since 1997. Together with fellow DJ Ismet, he hosted Istanbul’s first funk-soul parties. Thanks to the abundance of old record stores he was able to indulge himself in retro sounds like beat, disco and soul. Barış K’s Eurasia mixes feature 70’s Turkish music deeply rooted in Anatolia… A truly universal sound… A revival of the golden age. Barış also produces; his remix for clarinet player Hüsnü Şenlendirici was released from Doublemoon Records.
TUTAN
Tutan aka Analog Master or Bülent Tercanlı is the unoffical captain of the Istanbul underground. He’s been known forever in absurdly diverse fields, from olive oil production to radio management, from digging up and editing obscure Turkish pop music to esoteric architecture. He has virtually been in- volved with or has conspired against each and every alterna- tive event, scene and happening in İstanbul and around. By the way, he also experienced walking to the North Pole.
