Childplay is a name synonymous with innovation and passion in the electronic music scene. Inspired by the sounds of Ricardo Villalobos, Matthew Herbert, Dimbiman, Akufen, and others, he embarked on a journey into the world of music production. He went on to study Management of Performing Arts (MAP) and Recording Technologies(MUS) at Istanbul Bilgi University, graduating in 2013. His career has been marked by significant milestones, including performances at revered clubs and festivals, collaborations with respected artists like Tolga Fidan, Mike Shannon, Dyed Soundorom, Nick Curly, Herodot, and others, and holding a residency at Nacht Istanbul. Hearing these artists works was a defining moment that guided him toward a minimalistic approach to dance music, an influence that still resonates with him today. These experiences have shaped his sound and perspective, helping him overcome challenges such as understanding sound as frequency, studying the physics of music, and learning music theory. Currently working on edits and unreleased music in the studio, he is devoted to tailoring his compositions into minimal forms that will stay relevant in any context. ​ Being part of the local, regional, and global music community has enriched Childplay's work, driving his outlook and attitude. As the culture grows, he continues to nurture new talents, staying strong and updated in a rapidly changing musical landscape.
