The American avant-garde pop legend Xiu Xiu is coming to Istanbul!Formed by Jamie Stewart and Angela Seo, the American avant-garde pop duo Xiu Xiu has been creating provocative projects for over twenty years, and after a long break, they are finally returning to Istanbul!
Xiu Xiu is undoubtedly one of the most original formations in 21st-century music. Blending various styles from noise pop to experimental rock, the group breaks through sound barriers. As part of the world tour for their recently released album "13" Frank Beltrame Italian Stiletto with Bison Horn Grips," they will perform in our country on January 28, 2025, at Blind.
This prolific group has consistently dazzled audiences with their impactful albums and collaborations. They have released 17 full-length albums, receiving praise from numerous publications, including The New Yorker, The Wire, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, and NME. They have toured the world tirelessly, performing in unconventional venues like Kazakhstan and Lebanon, as well as prestigious institutions like the Guggenheim and Centre Pompidou.
