Garanti BBVA presents the Mauskovic Dance Band. Garanti BBVA cardholders can purchase event tickets with a 20% discount. The Mauskovic Dance Band from Amsterdam is a musical family with a unique blend of Afro-Caribbean poly rhythms and no-wave sounds. They've been experimenting with hazy rhythms and dubby percussive music since 2017. Initially, they fused these influences to create a danceable chaos. Their journey started with 7" releases for Bongo Joe Records. They caught the attention of Soundway Records, leading to the release of an EP and their self-titled debut album in 2019. Known for their hypnotic grooves, they became renowned for energizing dance floors worldwide, performing from Russia to Mexico and at various European festivals. Their latest chapter involves delving deeper into echoes, spring reverbs, and refining their post-punk aesthetic. They released a four-track EP titled "Shadance Hall" in 2020 via Dekmantel, showcasing their evolving sound. The band continues to captivate audiences with their unique musical journey.
