RE:VOLT Kollektiv, which contributes to the Istanbul underground scene by taking the concepts of sincerity, freedom, and music as a starting point, celebrates its 1st year in RX Istanbul on February 29, Saturday.
While electronic music started to allow the people to feel the freedom uniquely almost half a century ago, helped to reveal all of the colors with the free space it provides, it started to bring its own unique culture. Rave culture has determined concepts such as sincerity, self-control, and intimacy as its route.
RE:VOLT Kollektiv, who embraces the concepts handed by this culture, which takes care not only to their regulars but also to create space for anyone who can accept the atmosphere offered by electronic music and rave culture, has organized events in various places in Istanbul last year and hosted: Regal, Parallx, Nur Jaber, Newa, Stef Mendesidis, KAS:ST, Par Grindvik, SPFDJ, Charles Green, Shlomo, Vladimir Dubyshkin, SNTS, Rikhter, Restless, Jehra, Mert A, Siamo, GMZ, Gergemann and many more.
In addition to the names they brought together with their audience, with the first step of their Civil Involvement Project ‘Dance For’ series Dance For: Children they also helped the children in need. At the same time they brought the dark atmosphere of electronic music to the Istanbul listeners, in secret venues, as in the parties called Revolution.
Preparing to represent the Boiler Room Istanbul event on March 20, RE:VOLT Kollektiv celebrates its 1st year at RX Istanbul on 29 February 2020 for sincerity, freedom, music and free space.
