Intro

Axel, a native of Stockholm, Sweden, has spent most of his life dedicated to electronic music. His journey began around 1992, leading him to diverse venues with great sound systems and fat basslines. He grew up on a diet of techno and house music thanks to his older brother's record collection.

Axel soon gained recognition as one of Sweden's skillful and stylish DJs, building his reputation in Stockholm's club scene. His venture into production yielded tracks like "Arcimboldo," earning the attention of DJs like DJ Koze, Magda, and Seth Troxler.

Known for his raw, soulful, and playful sound, Axel's big breakthrough came in 2010 with "Purple Drank," released on DJ Koze's Pampa Records. He also participated in the Red Bull Music Academy and co-founded Studio Barnhus, a label. In 2011, he continued to release music and remixes on various labels, cementing his place in the electronic music scene.
