Eli Iwasa, who is one of the most important and respected players in Brazil’s electronic music industry is coming to Istanbul for the first time with the cooperation of Generic Music and Label Project, on June 26th! She is the owner of two relevant clubs in São Paulo, Caos and the awarded Club 88, one of resident DJs at Warung Beach Club, she excelled both as a in-demand DJ and as an entrepreneur. Eli played a fundamental part in the Brazilian scene development since its early days, both running and curating clubs and events such as the legendary Lov.e Club - she has now been responsible for a wide transformation of the scene in the State of São Paulo, most specifically in the city of Campinas, which she helped turning into a dance music hotspot in her home-country, bringing A-Class artists to a city outside São Paulo’s grounds — always promoting and believing in techno and its strands.
