Biography

With a fierce and unique signature sound, ABEM has swiftly risen to prominence as a key figure in the hybrid movement that has emerged in the electronic landscape over the past few years. His sonic explorations, both ultra-dynamic and deeply introspective, unfold with a precision that reflects a profound mastery of sound design. A relentless producer, the French artist regularly crafts boundary-pushing tracks for some of the most visionary labels in the sce- ne, while delivering shamanic live rituals and DJ sets across the globe. His releases span imprints like Union Trance Mission — of which he is a resident — Underzone, Parallel, and Maison Close, where he has signed a widely praised and regularly played EP. ABEM’s approach is rooted in non-conformity, an unwavering commitment to bending and reshaping the very fabric of trance and free tekno across their many textures: from the deep currents of psytrance to the weirdness of solar emo, the primitive roots of mental tribe, and the grinding sounds of acidcore. A true alchemist of hybrid forms, he is known for his electrifying closing sets that never fail to leave the audience suspended in a state of hypnotic ecstasy.
