Adamlar consists of Tolga Akdoğan (vocals and electric guitar), Gürhan Öğütücü (electric guitar), Berat İşçioğlu (bass guitar), and Berkan Tilavel (drums). The creator of the lyrics and compositions is Tolga Akdoğan. Their songs feature powerful, deep, intense, and ironic lyrics on various aspects of life. It's as if they are making jokes from within a theatrical drama... They are not hopeless; on the contrary, they push people to revive and believe... The dynamics are striking... We can roughly think of Adamlar’s music within the framework of Rock’n Roll, Blues, and a bit of Hip-Hop, but that’s not enough. Adamlar creates music with Turkish lyrics. Though it comes from the "Singer-Songwriter" tradition, this music blends quite different genres. It flows through a fluctuation, shifting from Hip-Hop to Turkish traditional "long hava", from tango to the most intense forms of Rock.
