David Triana, born in Bogotá, has been shaping the dance music scene for over a decade. As a co-founder of Downpitch Recordings alongside Tomas Station, he released and remixed tracks from artists like Alton Miller and Jordan Fields, while also curating events that introduced fresh electronic sounds to South America—featuring names such as Jeremy Underground, Anthony Naples, and Pearson Sound.
Now based in London, Triana works as a producer, DJ, and co-founder of the Soursopp parties—an essential fixture in the city’s music scene, regularly hosted at venues like Fabric and Lion & The Lamb. He has performed extensively across South America, North America, and Europe, holding residencies in Madrid, Istanbul, London, and New York.
As the founder of the Triana y Hermana Juana project, he blends Colombian and Caribbean rhythms with jazz and funk, crafting a hypnotic fusion of acoustic and electronic sounds. His music has been featured on platforms such as NTS, Red Light Radio, and WWFM, and released on labels like Descendant of The Deep.
With a genre-defying career and a passion for pushing sonic boundaries, David Triana continues to leave a lasting mark on the global dance music scene.
