Elif is a trailblazing artist who made history as the first musician in Turkey to release original jazz songs in English. She studied with jazz legend Sheila Jordan at Queens College, becoming the first Turk to graduate from the school, earning an award upon graduation. She produced and arranged all her albums except "Come Me Come Te," Her exceptional talent has earned her the Best Jazz Musician award by Boğaziçi Radio three times. In addition to her performing career, she teaches at the European Jazz School, mentoring young musicians from across Europe.
