Far Caspian, the project of Irish multi-instrumentalist and producer Joel Johnston, aims to thematically explore the emotions and relationships experienced throughout life in their twenties, with their debut album 'Ways to Get Out'. 'Ways To Get Out' is a comforting companion on a relatable journey torn between yearning for the happy naivety of youth, overcoming the stresses of adulthood, and accepting your place in the world. Choosing to record with a DIY approach, Joel Johnston recorded, played and mixed everything himself throughout the album work. In this respect, it would not be an exaggeration to say that the sound for the album is a masterful blend of ringing guitars, rich harmonic melodies and sharp rhythms.
