Leon Fritz (Yabancı), Luca Fritz, Arda Ünnü, Ömer Denzi Pınar and Parham A.G formed Frozen Clouds after meeting while skateboarding in 2013. In their early years, the band performed hardcore punk and metalcore, quickly becoming known for the high energy of their shows. After releasing one EP and several singles up until 2015, they began playing concerts regularly.
With the release of their first album in 2017, Frozen Clouds went on tour with Pentagram and played shows in Turkey with Ukrainian metalcore band Jinjer and Russian metalcore band Wildways. They delivered an unexpected cover of Ezhel’s track “Sakatat” and, with songs like “Moral Holiday,” “no” and “16:56,” they began moving away from a purely hardcore punk/metalcore palette, adding electronic elements, acoustic instruments such as ukulele, and clean vocals in search of a new sound.
To date, Frozen Clouds have released 10 singles, two EPs, one studio album and one live EP. In the fall of 2022, they released their second album Kalbime İnancım on the Garaj label. On this record, their first after a five–year break, each track features a different guest musician and explores a different genre, with artists such as Kum, 3pillie, Sami Baha, Kodes Kahra and Akış Ka joining Frozen Clouds.
