Göksel is one of the exceptional female artists of Turkish music with her unique voice and is also one of the poetic songwriters of Istanbul, the city where she was born. While Göksel's songs offer an alternative to Turkish pop music, they have a timeless and universal quality with acoustic, electronic, and ethnic sounds.
