Born in France, Göksun Çavdar began his musical education at the Istanbul Technical University State Conservatory, studying clarinet and composition. In addition to the clarinet, he is also known for his mastery of the alto and soprano saxophone. Throughout his career, he has performed and recorded with many leading Turkish artists, including Ajda Pekkan, Sezen Aksu, Kenan Doğulu, and Sıla.
