Biography

Hadise, a Belgian-born Turkish pop sensation, has captivated audiences with her powerful vocals, magnetic stage presence, and genre-blending music, solidifying her as one of Turkey’s most influential artists. Rising to fame after Idool Belgium (2003), she gained international attention with Stir Me Up, but it was Deli Oğlan—the Turkish version of A Good Kiss, with lyrics by Sezen Aksu—that cemented her status in Turkey. Representing Turkey at Eurovision 2009 with Düm Tek Tek propelled her to global recognition, leading to chart-topping albums and awards, including four Golden Butterfly and multiple Kral TV Music Awards, as well as international honors like the Mnet Asian Music Award for Best Asian Artist. Her 2009 album Fast Life topped Indonesian charts and reached No. 16 in Belgium, further proving her global appeal. Over two decades, she has shaped pop culture, influencing fashion, television, and activism while using her platform to empower women and advocate for self-expression.
