Joy Zahar is a Lebanese-African guitarist, composer, and music producer from Beirut. Known for her unique blend of indie Afro House with oriental and organic influences, she has carved out a distinctive sound of her own.
After beginning her career in metal music, Joy later became the lead guitarist and band manager for Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama, performing in more than 300 concerts worldwide. Since 2020, she has focused on music production, combining Afro grooves, oriental melodies, and live instrumentation into immersive performances.
In 2023, she founded Rousing Chamber, a creative space and record label dedicated to showcasing authentic, cross-cultural music. Today, Joy continues to inspire audiences through her music, fostering creativity, connection, and artistic freedom.
