Özgür Bay, 46 years old from Istanbul has been passionately mixing and creating music since the end of the 90'ies.
He has started playing at Suleyman Nazif Bar; a hot mecca of the era. Through of the 2000's, he has been backed up by Hip Hip Productions and with the support of Ateş Tezer.
He started his electronic music career; mixing House & Techy and Detroit Techno sounds.
He has been the resident DJ of Switch, Crystal, 11:11, The Hall, Lux, Kasette, Kloster, Indigo, Mentha Istanbul & plays two of Istanbul's biggest clubs Kastel, Klein & populer mini clubs, bars hosting deep house & techno nights since then.
He has played with house music icons such as Jerome Sydenham, Kevin Yost, Phonique, Darren Roach, Jim Masters, Shawnecy, Britta Arnold, Dario D'Attis, Nico Stojan, Chris Schwarzwalder, Doctor Dru and Satori...
He is known with his flawless style, spontaniety while mixing and getting inspired from the crowd's energy and feel.
He also enjoys playing downtempo music with organic South American sound.
He plays annually overseas in different cities such as Berlin, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Basel, Sofia, Belgrade & Zanzibar.
Özgür Bay took part playing with Matinee Istanbul (Sertaç & Lilly) in Berlin's legendary club Katerblau's (ex Bar 25) wildest nights.
Between 2017 & 2020 he had been the night manager of the most popular terrace in Istanbul named Mentha.
And at the same time playin on gigs and festivals nationaly & overseas.
In these days, it draws attention with the radio show called "Secret Hideouts", which is broadcast every Tuesday night between 23.00–00.00 on Radio2019.com.tr.
