Adham Farid has played a crucial role in numerous influential records
as an audio engineer, beatmaker and musician ever since moving to
Turkey to pursue his artistic dreams in the colorful urban jungle that
is the music scene of Istanbul in his early 20s. Jumpstarting his
career as a promising audio engineer at a well-known studio and
working with globally acclaimed musicians and artists, he kept
exploring the musical depths of his inner world by training himself on
instruments and through interacting and collaborating with the
artistic minds of the vast number of international musicians. His
passion for beatmaking and electronic music production, fueled by his
ambition and hard work, has led him to develop and expand on his
signature sound, a fusion of modern day DAWs and the MPC. His almost
industrial, often described as metallic beats fuse well with the
J-Dilla inspired feel of his grooves and end up making up the
beautifully connected strings of his musical universe and provide a
truly contemporary sound to his productions that is still somehow
possessed by the powerful raw spirit of early Hip-Hop.
