Serkan Çağrı was born in 1976 in Keşan, Edirne, and began playing the clarinet at a young age. Gaining early recognition through awards, he completed his studies at Ege University and Istanbul Technical University’s Turkish Music Conservatory, and later worked as a clarinet instructor in academia.
Praised by klezmer master Giora Feidman, who invited him on stage during a concert, Çağrı also gained international recognition through a signature clarinet model produced under his name. Alongside his performances in Turkey and abroad, he has shared the stage with world-renowned artists such as Sting, Buika, and the Gypsy Kings.
