Biography

After hearing the band’s demo recordings, Rough Trade founders Geoff Travis and Jeannette Lee said, “Our hearts started racing — we knew we had to reach out immediately,” and welcomed The Sophs into the label’s roster. Currently working on their debut album “GOLDSTAR,” the band will be performing some of their new songs live for the first time on this tour. With Ethan Ramon’s emotionally charged and unpredictable vocals, Sam Yuh’s keys, Austin Parker Jones’ striking guitar solos, and the band’s collective on-stage chemistry, The Sophs’ shows become a form of controlled chaos — a constantly shifting wave of energy, always ready to erupt.
