Born in Istanbul in 1993, Yağız Kahraman is a DJ, media personality, and the founder of ZONE MAG, one of Turkey's largest independent platforms covering hip-hop, music, and fashion.
As the official warm-up DJ for Travis Scott's event in Istanbul, Yağız has also shared lineups with international artists including Tyga, Central Cee, Luciano, 6ix9ine, Sheck Wes, Swae Lee, NLE Choppa, and Russ Millions. In Turkey, he has performed at concerts and events featuring some of the country's leading hip-hop artists, including Murda, Motive, UZI, Batuflex, Khontkar, Anıl Piyancı, Sagopa Kajmer, Lil Zey, Bege, cakal, and Reckol.
His sets are primarily built around hip-hop, R&B, Afro, Jersey Club, and Drum & Bass, while adapting to each venue and audience with selections that also include Latin, pop, and other global sounds.
Alongside his DJ career, Yağız spent many years as a radio host and presenter at Power FM, Virgin Radio Turkey, and Metro FM. He is also one of Turkey's few Apple Music Ambassadors, curating the official ZONE MAG page on Apple Music.
Today, he leads ZONE MAG, one of Turkey's largest independent hip-hop and global music platforms. Through ZONE MAG, he has interviewed international names such as Havoc (Mobb Deep), Tech N9ne, Karl Kani, Andre Troutman, and Rotimi, while producing content from concerts, festivals, and major cultural events that reaches millions of people.
