Gaia Ekho has released her first single of the year, titled 'Sonia.' This single met the audience just a few days before Gaia's performance at Sonar Istanbul.

Gaia began her music education in 2007 at the music department of high school. Later on, she pursued her undergraduate and graduate studies in music. Choosing cello and piano as her main instruments, Gaia Ekho started getting interested in electronic music during her educational years. She then combined her academic classical music education with electronic music backgrounds and embarked on a career in this field.

With her trained talent and unique presence in the electronic music scene, Gaia started gaining attention and performing at some of Turkey's most prominent festivals and clubs. She performed at festivals such as Chillout Festival, Soundscape Festival, and Electronica Festival, which opened doors from Turkey to the global stage. Sharing the stage with world-famous artists like Paul Kalkbrenner, Monolink, The Blaze, Jan Blomqvist, Sam Shure, Viken Arman, Gaia continues to perform regularly at leading clubs in Turkey.

At the end of 2022, Gaia Ekho started collaborating on special projects with Anadole Community, a record label she co-founded, aiming to become a respected and highly valued record label in the global arena. Gaia provides musical coaching to students at the London Music Academy and writes articles on classical music topics.

In late 2023, Gaia Ekho recorded a performance for BMW Motorrad Turkey. Intertwining their footage shot in seven regions of Turkey with Gaia Ekho's hybrid performance, which takes listeners on deep musical journeys by using the music and sound heritage of the regions uniquely, BMW Motorrad Turkey released "Echoes of the Road" to give you the feeling of being on the road again.
