Görkem Çay has shared his single, 'Solo'!
Görkem Çay is an artist who was born in Switzerland and raised in Turkey, where his deep passion for music shaped his professional DJ career. Discovering electronic music in the early 2000s, he began archiving tracks he enjoyed, gradually honing his musical talents and making music the focal point of his life.
After being involved with leading electronic music brands and radio stations in Turkey, he continued his professional DJ career at Radio FG 93.8 and performed as a resident DJ at top clubs in the country. He has also performed alongside numerous renowned international DJs, solidifying his status as a significant figure in the Turkish electronic music scene.
Now, Görkem Çay has taken a new step to expand his musical talents and passion to a broader audience. He has introduced his single 'Solo' as part of the 'Madorasindahouse Selects #5, Pt. 2' compilation released by the reputable Greek electronic music label.
The compilation features carefully selected tracks by some of the industry's finest producers. Le Croque's "Mujer" has been making waves for the past few months with its perfect balance between afro and melodic beats. Pippi Ciez and Chukku bring us "Final Chapter", a deep and dreamy house track that can be played anywhere from Bali's sunset to Berlin's after-party. Gone Deville, who we met last year with "Kumanima", is back with "Soul People", an afro deep groover that reminds us of Nina Simone's vocals. Last but not least, we have Darco's "Sae Tue", a sing-along track that captures your heart from the very first seconds.
Inspired by the empowering effect of being alone to feel and create music in its purest and most concentrated form, Görkem Çay aims to provide listeners with a magical experience that touches their souls with 'Solo'. He believes that 'Solo' has a unique flow and narrative that transcends geographical and genre boundaries, reflecting the culmination of years of dedication and hard work.
