We’re saying goodbye to the last evenings of summer with music, laughter, and one of Ankara’s most beautiful views 😛 Bir Yaz Akşamı welcomes Harun Tekin and Koray Candemir’s long-running Şakalı Akustik project to the open-air atmosphere of Atakule Çim Teras. Two prominent names in Turkish rock music take the stage in their most stripped-back form for this special evening. Harun Tekin and Koray Candemir reinterpret their own songs, each other’s works, and some of their favorite tracks with acoustic arrangements, blending the performance with warm conversations and their signature sense of humor. On one side is Harun Tekin, synonymous with mor ve ötesi; on the other, Koray Candemir, who has made his mark on the Turkish rock scene with Kargo. Their years-long friendship and shared passion for music also come through in the conversations between songs on the Şakalı Akustik stage. This time, the meeting point is Atakule Çim Teras, one of Ankara’s iconic landmarks.
