Garanti BBVA Genç Konserleri: Kyoto Jazz Massive & Çağan Tunalı + İlhan Erşahin | PSM Loves2Gather
Live at %100 Studio on April 17!
Legendary Kyoto Jazz Massive returns with a brand-new EP celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut! This special project also marks their first-ever collaboration with Echoes Of A New Dawn Orchestra.
The tracks on the EP showcase a rich musical spectrum: “Power,” a consciousness-raising piece infused with gospel-tinged jazz-funk and French disco energy; “Impulsive Procession,” a multi-layered composition blending Afro, funk, jazz, soul, rock, and electronic elements; “Love Wars,” bringing broken beat into a live band setting with a boogie feel and spiritual vocals; “Stand Up,” re-recorded with a live studio arrangement by EOANDO and fresh vocals from Vanessa Freeman; and “EOANDO’s Theme,” reflecting the Okino Brothers’ love for Brazilian/Balearic-inspired boogie-funk. Together, these tracks offer a powerful and contemporary summary of Kyoto Jazz Massive’s 30-year musical journey.
This special anniversary project—where jazz, funk, disco, and crossover sounds meet—will come to life on stage with Kyoto Jazz Massive’s unique performance at %100 Studio.
Following Kyoto Jazz Massive’s set on April 17, Çağan Tunalı and İlhan Erşahin will also take the stage, delivering their own distinctive performances to the audience at %100 Studio.
