Italian duo Giolì & Assia, known for blending electronic production with live instrumentation and vocals, take over Klein Phönix on Friday, October 16. Creating a distinctive musical world that moves between techno, house, indie and pop, Giolì & Assia combine instruments such as piano, cello, guitar, drums and handpan with their electronic productions. Alongside releases on their own label, Diesis Records, the duo have gained international recognition with tracks including “Something Special” and “Feel Good” on Spinnin’ Records, as well as “Blame On Me” and “Inside Your Head.” They are widely known for their live sets, which take their music far beyond the boundaries of a traditional DJ performance. Through their #DiesisLive series, recorded in extraordinary locations ranging from Sicily to the summit of an active volcano and reaching millions of views, Giolì & Assia have built a global audience. This time, they bring their unique fusion of electronic music and live performance to the Klein Phönix stage. Joining Giolì & Assia on the night will be Bittermind, who combines melodic elements with powerful basslines and recently made his debut on the Drumcode catalogue with “Dancing,” a collaboration with 19:26, as well as Fratello, whose distinctive sound is rooted in progressive house.
