Entry Information
Bringing together the European electronic music scene with his West African roots, Laolu takes over the Klein Phönix booth on Friday, October 30.
Laolu made a major breakthrough with his remix of Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra’s “Too Much Information,” released on Innervisions. Blending the roots of Chicago and Detroit with Afro and Latin influences, he has established a distinctive production style and secured his place on the international electronic music scene.
Joining Laolu for the night are Orkun Bozdemir, known for his long-standing journey within Istanbul’s electronic music scene and his work under the Soul Revue umbrella, and Hemi, a DJ and producer who has long been part of Istanbul’s dynamic scene and is the creator of the Elder Youth concept.
