Entry Information
Northern Germany’s uncompromising sludge metal force Mantar is bringing its ferocious energy to Blind on October 13, 2026.
Founded in 2012 by Erinç Sakarya and Hanno Klänhardt, Mantar has established itself as one of the most distinctive and hard-hitting acts in the sludge metal scene. The duo reached No. 2 on the German charts with their 2022 album *Pain Is Forever and This Is The End* and now returns to a dirtier, faster, and more stripped-back sound with their latest release, *Post Apocalyptic Depression*.
Drawing inspiration from bands such as Melvins, Mudhoney, and Nirvana’s *Bleach* era, Mantar is renowned for creating a massive wall of sound with only two musicians on stage. Known for their chaotic intensity and uncompromising approach, the band will return to Istanbul for their second-ever performance in the city.
Shaped by dark atmospheres and relentless energy, this special night promises an unforgettable experience for metal fans.
