Entry Information
Black Midi bassist and vocalist Cameron Picton brings his new project, My New Band Believe, to Blind on 24 February for its first-ever performance in Türkiye, following the release of its critically acclaimed debut album.
Inspired by dreams Cameron experienced during a trip to China, the project blends folk, chamber pop, and experimental rock into a singular musical vision. Recorded with contributions from Kiran Leonard, Steve Noble, Caius Williams, and members of caroline, the album draws inspiration from artists such as Bert Jansch, Judee Sill, and John Renbourn, while taking the boundary-pushing musical approach Cameron Picton developed with Black Midi in an entirely new direction.
