Sam Shure

Within Berlin's rich cultural tapestry, Sam Shure's journey in the music world began at the age of 4, sitting at the piano. His acoustic maturity took shape under the guidance of Egyptian jazz musician Basem Darwisch; his father fostered his appetite for musical creativity and artistic expression. Later, Shure began to blend this background with Berlin's legendary electronic scene. His unique sound is influenced by the melodic intricacies of classical music, the hypnotic rhythms of world beats, and the vibrant energy of electronic dance music, creating a kaleidoscopic effect. His eclectic palette is a testament to his commitment to pushing the boundaries of sound exploration. Initially, Sam channeled various world music influences into a series of slow-tempo productions released on MUKKE, later finding a home for his tracks at Stil vor Talent. There, Sam established himself as a rising artist with his debut albums 'Kasra' and 'Nandoo'. His 2019 debut album 'Lanconia' showcased his impressive maturity as a songwriter and a keen ear for sound design, representing a shift from the organic, slower tempos of his early tracks to a more energetic, club-focused sound. At the end of 2022, Shure released a remix of Monolink's "Reflections," which has since garnered nearly 800k plays on Spotify and 100k views on YouTube, becoming a part of Monolink's live show. Sam Shure will be performing on the Backyard Secrets stage on Saturday, September 21st!
