Entry Information
On Friday, August 28, 16 Roof welcomes STOFFELA, one of the rising names emerging from South Africa’s new generation of electronic music.
Based in Johannesburg, STOFFELA began her journey through Shimza’s U’R platform and has since built an international profile with a sound shaped by deep rhythms, melodic storytelling and contemporary African electronic influences.
Her growing career has seen her appear on lineups alongside some of the most influential names in the global electronic music scene, including Shimza and Black Coffee. She has performed at Shimza-led events including Shimza & Co, while also appearing alongside Black Coffee at his Tulum closing event and opening for him on previous occasions.
With releases and appearances connected to respected South African platforms including Kunye and Stay True Sounds, STOFFELA represents a new wave of African electronic music moving confidently onto the international stage.
For one night in Istanbul, she brings her signature sound to 16 Roof, high above the Bosphorus, for a powerful late-summer electronic music experience.
