Entry Information
Sortie is launching Sunday Society, a brand-new party series bringing internationally acclaimed electronic music artists to one of Istanbul’s most iconic waterfront venues.
For its debut edition, the series welcomes one of the world’s leading names in Afro House: **Shimza**.
Recognized as one of the most influential figures in South Africa’s electronic music scene, Shimza has become a global pioneer of Afro House with his signature rhythmic sound, deep grooves, and hypnotic transitions. Having performed at some of the world’s most prestigious festivals and venues—including Tomorrowland, Cercle, Hï Ibiza, and Ultra Music Festival—he has captivated millions of listeners worldwide. Through his own platform, Kunye, Shimza also continues to play a key role in expanding Afro House culture on a global scale.
On October 4, Sunday Society makes its highly anticipated debut in Istanbul.
Set against the breathtaking Bosphorus waterfront, as the sunset fades into the night, this special performance will unite the mesmerizing rhythms of Afro House, Sortie’s unique atmosphere, and the iconic Istanbul skyline in one unforgettable experience.
Blending music, spectacular views, and the vibrant energy of summer evenings, Sunday Society is set to deliver one of the season’s most memorable electronic music events with its very first edition.
