Intro

Born on August 14, 1952, in Pompeii, Pino D'Angiò is regarded as a living legend in the music
world. He embarked on his career as a songwriter and composer, gaining particular fame for
his contributions to the Italo-disco genre during the 1980s. Starting out as a jazz musician in
the late 1970s, Pino later transitioned to pop music and chose to write his songs in Italian.
His debut album, 'Ti Regalo della Musica,' was released in 1979. Pino achieved international
recognition with the early 1980s hit, 'Ma Quale Idea'
Continuing his success with songs like 'Sott' 'Stelle' and 'Signorina' Pino also made
significant contributions to the world of film and television by composing soundtracks for
Italian movies such as 'Sotto il vestito niente' and 'Vacanze di Natale' He is widely
regarded as an influential figure in both the Italian and international music scenes, known
for bridging generations with his hit songs, particularly from the 1980s.
