In celebration of his new album Action Adventure, DJ Shadow will be playing selections from his 30-year career at Frankhan on June 22nd, tickets are on sale now. See you there! Josh Davis, better known as DJ Shadow, has been a force in instrumental hip-hop for over 30 years. From his groundbreaking debut "Endtroducing…" to his genre-defying releases like "The Private Press" and "The Outsider," Shadow has consistently pushed boundaries. In the 2010s, he collaborated with rap icons like Run the Jewels and Nas, showcasing his eclectic style. Shadow's latest album, "Action Adventure," is a solo project born during the COVID lockdown. Inspired by nostalgic radio tapes and a desire for musical independence, Shadow crafted an entirely instrumental album. Tracks like "Ozone Scraper" and "You Played Me" showcase his signature sound, blending genres with masterful sampling. "Action Adventure" takes listeners on a cinematic journey, ending triumphantly with "She’s Evolving." Despite its title, the album is far from cliché, offering a mature and focused experience that reflects Shadow's artistic evolution. As he puts it, this record is about his own musical vision above all else.

-The organisation and venue authorities have the right not to allow people they do not deem appropriate to the event and backstage area.

-Particular attention is paid to the balance in the number of men and women, attitude, style, clothing and general suitability, and entry may not be possible for these and similar reasons. This is entirely at the discretion of the door. The decision of our gate is final and valid under all circumstances.

-Purchased tickets cannot be refunded, cancelled or exchanged.

-The right to use the photographs and video footage of the participants in the event in promotional materials belongs to the organiser and the participant accepts the use of this right by participating in the event.
